This doesn't have any adjustment straps for the length

  2. unexpected awesomeness 4 Star Review

Let's be honest, you usually get what you pay for which had me a little worried with these swords. They exceeded my expectations with flying colors. They're sharp, well made and fast. The only issue was the holster, its non adjustable and not easy to get the swords out of without flailing like a moron. No worries though, I also purchased a holster for 15 that was awesome. The shipping was fast and I love them all around. First time I've used this site and I love it.

  3. Great Value and Good Project Starter 4 Star Review

I read the reviews before buying so I had the basics covered--be cautious of blade breaking off of handle, line the insides of the carrier with cardboard, got it. All great advice. Also great advice was how sharp they are... Prevented me from giving one to each kid and saying "here have a go at it, I'll be inside with the music turned up loud..." Phew, thanks for that.
This was a 4th dimensional purchase for me, I was really buying it for my 15 year old self, just 26 years too late. The crossed sword backpack harness taught me a lot. It's sized for the largest among the
Human species, and the rest of us are tasked to adjust it accordingly--good planning. Discovering this "sweet spot" of optimal adjustment however is a journey, and one that I recommend be taken alone. I can attest that if you are with other people when you first try to retrieve swords off of your own back, the results of your fruitless efforts to reach the unreachable can come off like a puppy chasing it's own tail, or leave you floundering like the Beverly Hills Ninja. The whole trial and error process can make you question the common perception that this could have been a practical configuration chosen by the Ninjas of ancient tradition. Also, the act of returning the sword to the sheath has to be done so delicately it makes you question the wisdom of fumbling with something so sharp, that out of reach, around body parts so important.
But in the end this is all a knoble experiment; Part myth-buster, part satisfying an old curiosity, part reliving the past, and partially an excercise in learning the limits of how far my wife will humor the decisions that I make without consulting others. So far, so good. She overcame the frustration of being the last to know about the purchase, she helped me readjust the harness, she humored me when I tried to legitimize sword ownership by using it to remove the packaging from a 20 lb. ham, and she hasn't used it against me--yet.

  4. Looks great but don't try to use them 3 Star Review

Posted by on 13th Feb 2015

Received the swords for a Deadpool costume and they looked great! So sharp they were catching on the sheaths but I read someone put cardboard liners in their sheaths and then they worked fine. They looked and felt great. Took them outside and massacred some pumpkins and they sliced right through them! And then one broke. The blades do not go through the handles so the plastic handle broke. Will be fixing to use for cosplay. Still think it is a great price for what you got. I just love to test out swords to see if they stand up to real-world usage.

  5. Awesome! 4 Star Review

Lightweight, the black steel is unique and beautiful for this style of sword.

These mothers are sharp as the devil himself, not toys, I just used them to cut a branch off a tree in my apartment!

The sheaths are pretty flimsy, cut a piece of cardboard to measure, and shove them in there, problem solved.

The cords on the handles are coming loose with use, not sure how fix that yet.

At this price point, you can't go wrong.

    Cheers.
