Chainmail Armor

Chainmail (also known as MAIL and MAILLE) was common during the Iron Age and the Middle Ages, becoming less common over the course of the 16th and 17th centuries. Chainmail armor is made by linking different types of steel rings into patterns and making either shirts, coifs (headpieces), and other garments. Mail armour provided an effective defence against slashing blows by an edged weapon and penetration by thrusting and piercing weapons. Our chainmail is handmade to specs and standards of those in old times.
